The Montessori Educational Method is probably the world’s first brain-based educational method – believed by many to be the best. The method is hands-on learning at its best, allowing the child to develop self-expression, collaboration, and responsibility in a classroom that promotes happiness, respect, and joy of learning. Long before we could look at the brain with MRIs, Dr. Montessori developed an educational method to help a child’s brain develop. Dr. Montessori’s method has been time tested, with more than 100 years of success around the world.

Infant and Toddler Program General Information
Our Infant and Toddler Program is grounded in the understanding that from birth to age 3, a child’s brain develops more rapidly than at any other time in life. At Goose Creek Montessori, we recognize the significance of these formative years and embrace the idea that meaningful learning can and should begin early. In our infant and toddler classrooms, children are cared for by warm, attentive, and experienced teachers who are specially trained in early childhood development. These peaceful, thoughtfully prepared environments offer safety, consistency, and rich opportunities for exploration. Here, your child’s natural curiosity, drive for independence, and love of learning are supported and celebrated every step of the way.
- Our Infant program serves children ages 3 mos. - 15 mos. - New for the 2026-2027 School Year!

Primary Program General Information
Our Montessori Primary program, designed for children ages 3 to 6, offers a carefully prepared, child-centered environment that fosters independence, concentration, problem-solving abilities, self-confidence, and respect for others. Academic concepts are introduced through concrete, sensory-rich materials that lay the foundation for abstract thinking.
Children remain with the same teacher for three years, building a unique bond that goes beyond traditional classrooms. This allows our teachers to truly understand each child’s learning style, strengths, and challenges, thus allowing for a more personalized and effective education.
As they progress through the program and enter their kindergarten year, children take on leadership roles in the classroom, gain mastery of the materials, and develop confidence and a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
